We provide training to the public and many of the areas largest industrial firms. our instructors are experienced teachers and cabinet makers. We operate 12 Months a year. We provide all materials for the course(s) on a cost recovery basis. We offer a full range of classes designed to fit your need. Learn as little or as much as you need. We can take the novice woodworker and have them turning out projects that will make them envy of all of their friends and family, or hone the skills of experts. Learn woodworking as a professional or as a hobby. If the class topic you want is not on the list, just call us with your needs and we will tailor a class to fit you. We can show you how to work with wood safely and without frustration.
Basic Cabinet Making
16 Contact hours, Tuition $480.00, Plus Material Cost
Learn the construction of panel doors, dovetail drawers, and carcass construction while building a small cabinet. This class is a prerequisite for the Intermediate Cabinet Class.
Intermediate Cabinet Making
24 Contact hours, Tuition $720.00, Plus Material Cost
Learn a more precise form of cabinet making as you make a 36" x 72" x 12" Oak Hutch. You will learn how to make chair rail molding, Base Trim, crown molding and glass doors.
Advanced Cabinet Making and Design
50 Contact Hours, Tuition $1500.00, Material cost variable by student project
Based upon all skills you have learned in previous cabinet making courses, this course will introduce you to the industry standards, hinging systems and use of wood laminates. You will develop a demonstrated understanding of case good manufacturing and assembly. You select and design your own project.
Basic Furniture Making
20 Contact hours, Tuition $600.00, Plus Material cost
Learn table construction as you create a small table. Learn lathe duplication and apron construction. The basic furniture making class is a prerequisite for the Intermediate Furniture class.
Intermediate Furniture
30 Contact hours, Tuition $600.00, Plus Material cost
Learn the basics of cabriole leg construction while constructiong a coffee table with a drawer.
Advanced Furniture
50 Contact hours, Tuition $1500.00, Material cost variable by student project
Based upon all the skills you developed in the two previous furniture making courses, this course allows the student to design and create an article of furniture from design requirements, sketches to final working drawings. During this advanced course the student learns how to apply standard furniture making techniques and design theory while completing the article of furniture to his or her specifications.
Basic Lathe Turning

Learn the basics of tool sharpening, spindle turning and bowl turning while creating many lovely turned projects.
Jig and Fixtures
8 Contact hours, Tuition $240.00, Plus Material cost
A class that guides you thru the construction of commonly used jigs & fixtures. You will select a project or projects that you can put to use in your own shop.
Rocking Horse Construction
20 Contact Hours, Tuition $600.00, Plus Material cost
Learn the art of constructing rockers and inlay work as you create a rocking horse that will become a family heirloom.
Shaker Trestle Table
24 Contact hours, Tuition $720.00, Plus Material cost
Learn to build a Trestle Table of exceptional design. This reproduction features a base with through mortise jointery, shaped feet and bevel edged top. This functional table can be used as a sofa table, hall table or work table.
Shaker Wall Clock
24 Contact Hours, Tuition $720.00, Plus Material cost
Learn the basics of shaker clock construction as you build a reproduction of a Hancock Wall Clock. Construction features through mortise and tenon stiles and rails, extensive routing techniques to include dado, stopdados and rabbet joints. The clock will accommodate both quartz or mechanical clock movements, which are not provided in the course. However the dial face will be provided. Sources for purchasing the clock movements will be made available to the participants.
Fundamentals Of Woodworking

Learn the basics of woodworking while building a small, shaker spindle, candle table. Learn how to correctly and safely use the table saw, bandsaw, router and other power tools.
Shaker Desk
24 Contact hours, Tuition $720.00, Plus Material cost
Learn to build this distinctive reproduction of a Shaker Styled Desk. Construction features a unique storage system. A cubby hole system with four dovetailed drawers and shaker style tapered legs.
Constructing Commercial Fixtures
24 Contact Hours, Tuition $720.00, Plus Material cost
Learn commercial fixture design, construction and pricing. Students will learn frameless carcass design, applications of veneers and plastic laminates used in commercial and industrial applications, and instalation techniques and procedures. Students have three choices of projects to construct a computer work station, an office organizer, or an industrial storage unit.
Advanced Construction & Design of Business/Commercial Fixtures
50 Contact hours, Tuition $1500.00, Plus Material cost variable by student project
Based upon the skills you developed in the Construction Business/Commercial Fixtures, learn how to design and create a commercial fixture/cabinet from design requirements, sketches and working drawings developed by the student. Apply industry standard techniques to complete a project with your own specifications.
